With great vision of making conscientious citizens of tomorrow ‘s world and India in particular, I have launched this meaningful venture Vethathiri Maharishi Public School (VMPS) with a difference which will make a change in the child’s perspective to life,fellow beings and attitude to Nature. For the functioning of it, MKD Educational Trust was formed in 2020.
The purpose of education is to impart four important assets to children namely,
- Wealth of knowledge to brace the challenges in this era of technology .
- Culture based human and social values for harmonious co existence.
- Skill enhancement for empowerment.
- Practices to improve one's physical and mental well-being.
Precisely, VMPS will transform the child from being human to being humane.

Thiru.M.K.Dhamodharan, The Correspondent of Vethathiri Maharishi Public School (VMPS), is a Yogi,an intense meditator and disciple of Yogiraj Vethathiri Maharishi, the founder of the World Community Service Center, a worldwide known spiritual organisation.
M.K.Dhamodharan proved his meditation frequency through EEG and published the research article in a USA Journal of Ancient Science, a journal of international standard.
Thiru M.K.Dhamodharan founded Temple of Consciousness at Dindigul, donating land and formed the Trust along with like-minded people. It was dedicated to the public on 10.2.1995 by the divine hands of Shri Vethathiri Maharishi.Thousands and thousands of people are benefited by this.
Since 1996, he has been the editor and publisher of Anbuneri ,a monthly spiritual magazine and regularly contributes articles. He has also authored 21 books on varied subjects.
He is a philanthropist extending noble service to Society through many means. A few of his society oriented services are
Annadhanam
Since 2000, Thiru.M.K.Dhamodharan has been donating free midday meal to the poor,needy and the elderly persons. Annapoorani Hall, which he built for this purpose in 2019 stands iconic of his magnanimous act of benevolence.,On an average 95 persons per day are benefited by this gesture of love and compassion towards the fellow beings.
Women Empowerment Institution
In order to make women self reliant economically through a skill, FREE tailoring course training is imparted to needy women since 2018.This institute conducts three batches per year.
Places of worship
He has also constructed a few places of worship at Dindigul to streamline the minds of people with devotion, discipline and values.
He began his career as an auditor and turned into a spiritual seeker. He is the Vice President and also the Director of Yoga Master Training Wing (SMART) of World Community Service Center.
Thirumathi.Nalini Dhamodharan,wife of Shri.M.K.Dhamodharan is an ardent follower of Guru Shri Vethathiri Maharishi and devotedly involved in all the selfless service projects launched by her husband.
Truly altruistic, Thiru M.K.Dhamodharan aspired to transmit values and meditation to the young minds and to bring out the full potential within them to explore the opportunities in this modern world and VMPS was born out of this aspiration.
